Twitterings: ( June, July, August, September )
Bizarrely snuck up on me, and just now to notice: Going about my day, crowded city of the world, tho barely a sentence said. Some days, wholly silent, sans human interaction. Hurrah, automation? Hurrah, convenience?
Life could use more parties, or facsimiles thereof.
Speaking of which, Hurrah! it's the weekend!

Woke from an odd dream this morning!
Maybe from so many peers being parents; spending time around them and their children...
Dreamed of wanting parenthood, but only if my child was a tiny talking songbird~

CNN on annoying facebookers. And to notice, there as anywhere, I'm a lurker... But especially lately, I've been more lurky. Overly cautious to avoid sending noise, negativity, or other unpleasantry, I've muffled the entirety of the signal. Oops?

Closest I've gotten to a live show these days: The seconds between loading a ticket sales webpage and sending the mouseclick to buy...
I love that tours usually make a stop in NYC; I hate how quickly their tickets sell out.
Silver lining? Ample free time?

While chatting with somebody new, I was asked about experiences of old, putting me in a bit of self-reminiscence.
And surprised myself by how much I've actually done (seemingly plenty).
Yet there's still so much more I'd like to do...
Slacker!

I kept wanting to update this before each night's sleep, but it's always been sleep to win out till now. Off-schedule insomnia.

Also, I've been arting a bit. At least, up to where I wonder if detailing is useful to recognition of a scene, or will either be unnecessary or unnoticed. But then I realize that I'm my own audience, so I simply file it away....

still a bit unnerving in amongst the crowds several times an hour to spot a random person coughing and groaning shuffling about, blank-eyed...

I've been terribly out of sync this month. Opportunities and ideas of nebulous natures were brought into view, to which I scheduled plenty of possibilities... yet finding I'm making plans for moments as they pass -- events too soon, too late, or cancelled -- leaving me with unfulfilled plans and too few moments. Perhaps just coincidental of the perceptual, it seemed a veritable cascade of failure. That chain needs delinking -- start anew in the next month.
However, this month's not over. Best stop typing... go out and do stuff!

The marshmallow had fallen to our feet, Filling shovels with mush and stick. Candy now grimy, no longer so sweet -- Five-second rule passes too quick.

Sitting, considering what to write, I was scribbling some notes from pencil to paper. The black little kitten beside me poked her nose at my writing, curious as to what manner of play I was partaking. No pretty pictures this time, just my clusters of letters. The kitten withdrew to roll about on the floor in the soft light cast through the windows. The sky was swept bright and broad with marshmallow, sweet as any winter sky for nearby winter geese. Spreading wings into the chill air for their loud celebration, they called for all their brethren to accompany them to their feast. The little kitten was quickly startled by all that commotion outside; alarmed eyes staring outward, "Did you hear that? Do you see them?!" "Yes... geese.", I confirmed, glancing up at the birds swimming their way through their sugary sea. The pine trees waved up at them as they flew past. My writing wasn't proceeding well with my attention drawn away: The pencil had begun to argue with the paper, wrestling against each other, turning my intended loops, curves, and dots into a chaotic scrawl of jagged lines. The kitten turned to me, plaintively, "But how do I get up there?", then returning her gaze to the birds. She hopped up into the air, floated for a moment, then dropped back down and sat. "Silly, kittens can't fly. That'd be nonsense...."
All of this distracting, it kept me from writing a bit of anything for this year's rabbit hole day....

- Been busy. This normally calls for simplifying & delegating; but the busyness of mind is usually best not delegated.
- Random guy asked me what my 'type' is; a question of hollow chatter, unless he was a pimp? Awkward unknown, I replied with the broadest answer, though first thought was to wonder how great it'd be to have the data for discriminant analysis. Of course realizing, if I had that data, I'd probably care less of the statistics.
- I still need to find a new dentist... which means I still have my wisdom teeth. Oh, maybe that's a good thing!
- Woken up too many times by early morning sales calls. I shouldn't have to do this, but I finally put my cell phone in the National Do Not Call Registry.
- After recent numerous twitterings of others, I'm finally on twitter. I'm not yet sure what to use it for.

One picture per a day. That's my goal -- find something wondrous at least once a day and post it to an album. Of course, as this will mostly be chance photography, "wondrous" can be of greatly varying quality. That's why I'm doing this as a New Year's resolution; I've always considered the notion to be rather silly, so I shouldn't find myself too dejected if once a day becomes once a week or month or whatever. All the same, the goal is set: Find something wondrous!

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, except a cat -- bounce, bounce! She'd get paws on sugar plums, if Santa would give her thumbs. Still well enough without, it's the joyful play that counts!
Okay, I'm tired... Merry Christmas 'n' all that~

Maybe I'm too wary of rebates. Some folks seem to have gotten some pretty good deals recently! And apparently, the multiple angry phone calls to the retailer is just part of the process! That's just how the business runs. Though, I can't help but wonder of the managerial side: if perhaps an authority is arbitrarily deciding how many rebate returns to accept or deny to meet a profit point, while villainously rubbing their hands in retailer glee, cackling over the voluminous piles of paperwork that is their domain. Yeah, I don't trust rebates....
